Shade and Water is published by Shade and Water Press LLC and nobody else has a hand in it. No park authority, no landowner, no equipment maker, no transport company and no tourism office has any say in what appears here or any part in it.

Companies exist whose names resemble this web address, in trades this journal is not in. None has any connection to this publication and none is named on this site.

Nothing is sold

There is no shop here, nothing to book, nothing to reserve, nothing to join and no figure quoted anywhere. Because no transaction exists, the usual questions about paying, refunding, cancelling, delivering and warranting have no subject at all, and clause 6 of the terms states that outright rather than letting a reader infer it.

One arrangement sits outside all that: the look up at the foot of the front page. An independent booking host answers it, and a trip booked through that host afterwards can return a commission here. The wording sits directly beneath the form, and the look up page explains it at length.

The four limits

1. 1. This journal does not move animals. Not by air, not by road, not through an agent, and it names nobody who does that work.
2. 2. This journal holds no view on an animal's health. Not about heat, not about fitness, not about water, not about distance, not about treatment and not about paperwork. Every one of those belongs to the person who looks after your animal.
3. 3. A record describes one day. Creeks run dry, gates get locked, trails move and signs are replaced. Every record prints its date because that is the honest scope of the claim.
4. 4. Nothing here is a safety assessment. Judge the heat, the surface, the water and your own animal on the day, and turn back early rather than late.

Not made of anybody else's work

• The words were written here. A quotation appears in quotation marks with the speaker named.
• The pictures were generated for this journal alone. None was licensed, none was illustrated, none was stitched together from parts, and none pretends to be a named location instead of an example of the ground being described.
• The mark is a leaf over water, drawn in code for this site.
• No page here fetches code from another company. The look up is ours, and a reader's chosen trip is the single thing that ever travels outward.
